Forikolo is both the name of the place where the school building project is taking place and the name of our association. Forikolo means “respect of the other”. It highlights the importance of gratitude. This means that we must feel grateful for the help we receive from others. That word comes from the Susu language (of the Mande Family) The Susu language is spoken in the North of Sierra Leone (in the districts of Portloko, Kambia and Bombali ).
